The Aboriginal Apprenticeship Board of Ontario (AABO) is composed of representatives of the Partnership Advisory Committee (PAC) and Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ASETS) agreement holders. The PAC represents government, industry, and employers and, unlike the ASETS, has no direct link with apprentices. The Aboriginal Construction Employment Referral Services (ACERS) are an AABO initiative and work directly with ASETS, Employers, and Apprentices to become a sponsoring agent and indenture Aboriginal clients who enter into apprenticeships.
